NMS Software Engineer Software engineer required for development of Network/Element Management System (NMS) software. Primary Responsibility : Implements, validates and supports application software for use in management of telecommunication systems. Develops and reviews the software and the related documentation in accordance with the Software Development Process (SDP). Essential Skills Degree in Electronic Engineering, Computer Science or related subject. Minimum 3 years programming experience in Java, J2EE related technologies (JSP, Servlet, EJB/Web-Server/App-Server, JMS, SOAP, HTTP(s), XML/XSLT) Proficiency in Object Oriented Programming and related concepts Hands on software development and integration experience. Experience with SNMP Protocol Advanced Java/J2EE/Struts framework experience. Good verbal and written communication skills Prior experience with development of Network Management System applications Desirable Skills knowledge of Networking protocols (TCP/IP, UDP) Experience with programming in Perl, Tcl/Tk, Ruby or JavaScript. Work experience within the Wireless / RF industry. Experience with RDBMS.
